World Patient Safety Day 2025 Celebration
Vaccination Awareness Drive
Date of Activity: 17th Sept 2025
Location: Nearby Community in Kondhwa, Pune
The School of Pharmacy, Vishwakarma University, Pune in collaboration with Centre of Sustainability Nexus organized a Vaccination Awareness Drive on the theme “Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child”. Highlights or the activities are Awareness rally with placards & slogans on child immunization, Health education sessions for parents & caregivers, Distribution of IEC materials in simple local language, Interactive sessions to clear myths & misconceptions. The drive encouraged parents and children to get vaccinated, become responsible for self-care and contribute to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being (Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages) and SDG 4: Quality Education (Providing health literacy and education to parents and caregivers)
The Activity is conducted by Prof. Snehal Hase (Co- Convenor) and Dr. Jaymala Kumawat (Co-ordinator) with the support and motivation from our Dean Dr. Sunitha Sampathi (Convenor) and the students of School of Pharmacy Vishwakarma University, Pune in collaboration with Centre of Sustainability Nexus, Vishwakarma University, Pune
