Activity Brief: The Nature & Environment Wing of the Student Council organised an enriching educational visit to Agharkar Research Institute's botanical gardens, providing students with an exposure to plant sciences. This visit allowed students to explore a diverse collection of ornamental and indigenous plant species, including vibrant Dianthus varieties, while understanding professional cultivation techniques through both potted and ground-planted specimens.
Sixteen of our students had the opportunity to engage with advanced research in developmental biology and biodiversity, gaining first-hand knowledge about cutting-edge plant conservation methods and research protocols. The visit not only deepened their appreciation for environmental conservation but also made them understand the significance of futuristic green initiatives and sustainability projects.
