The School of Pharmacy, Vishwakarma University, Pune, organized an industrial visit to Inducare Pharma, Jejuri MIDC, Pune, on 13 October 2026. The visit was attended by 16 students from FY Diploma in Pharmacy and 27 students from TY Bachelor of Pharmacy, accompanied by faculty members Prof. Poonam Taru, Prof. Snehal Hase and Dr. Bhavna Mahajan,
The visit aimed to familiarize students with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes,including manufacturing, filling, finishing, packaging, and storage. Students gained practical insights into Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), cleanliness, contamination prevention, and the proper handling and segregation of raw materials, finished products, and rejected materials.
The visit provided valuable industrial exposure, helping students understand the functioning of pharmaceutical manufacturing units and the importance of quality assurance, product safety, and regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical production.
