Vishwakarma University has organized a structured session on "Fire Mock Drill" on 3rd May 2024 for the faculty, staff and students of the university in collaboration with the department of Fire Brigade of Pune Municipal Corporation at open area, behind building no 1. The session was found useful and appreciated by all the staff members. While Mr. Kailas Shinde delivered the session, the Chief Fire Officer was using the following rescue equipment. These are: 1. Chain saw, 2. Circular saw, 3. Battery powered hydraulic cutters and water pipe nozzles like long branch, short branch, London pattern hand control branch, rotary branch and turbojet branch are used for firefighting.
