The Economics department at Vishwakarma University prepares students to enter the corporate as well as academics world by equipping them with the necessary technical, decision making, and managerial abilities that are an integral part of our B.Sc. Economics Course. We ensure all students are given a broad knowledge of the technical and functional aspects of the economy and its interconnection through all the other disciplines.
The thrust of this programme is also to provide the students with a platform for pursuing higher studies leading to post-graduate or doctoral degrees. Graduates may apply the knowledge gained in the production industry, financial, academic research, and agriculture sectors. Vishwakarma University has taken a pioneering step in this direction through the introduction of its Contemporary Curriculum Project Pedagogy. This innovative approach transforms conventional teaching methods by placing industry-related and industry-focused projects at the core of student learning.
Imparting education to create best human capital in the field of economics with finest research and innovation recognized internationally.
With the fast-changing requirements of the world today, success is determined by ones capacity to adapt to these changes. This is precisely our goal in the department: to establish an intellectual nerve centre for Economics education, where future economists will be instilled with essential economic and ethical ideals, allowing them to become invaluable assets to the nation and global community.
I welcome you to the Economics department and assure you that your expectations will not only be met but will be surpassed substantially.
