Activity Brief: The Comic Craft Workshop was an engaging and interactive activity where students explored the art of visual storytelling. The activity provided a platform for participants to express their creativity through comics, panel-based storytelling, and character design. A total of 16 students participated, creating unique and expressive comics that showcased diverse perspectives and artistic styles. The workshop encouraged students to develop their creativity, experiment with new storytelling formats, and enhance their artistic confidence.

Activity Brief: The Nature & Environment Wing of the Student Council organised an enriching educational visit to Agharkar Research Institute's botanical gardens, providing students with an exposure to plant sciences. This visit allowed students to explore a diverse collection of ornamental and indigenous plant species, including vibrant Dianthus varieties, while understanding professional cultivation techniques through both potted and ground-planted specimens.
Sixteen of our students had the opportunity to engage with advanced research in developmental biology and biodiversity, gaining first-hand knowledge about cutting-edge plant conservation methods and research protocols. The visit not only deepened their appreciation for environmental conservation but also made them understand the significance of futuristic green initiatives and sustainability projects.

Activity Brief: As part of its commitment to social responsibility and community development, the Student Council, in collaboration with Keshu Foundation, organized "Digital Pioneers", a hands-on training workshop aimed at bridging the digital divide and empowering students with essential computing skills. The workshop was conducted by 6 members of the student council, and was aimed at teaching students from slums of Pune about the fundamental components of a computer, providing them with the experience of using essential applications. Kids explored MS Paint and MS Word, learning text formatting, font styles, and alignment techniques. Basic key functions such as cut, copy, and paste, along with their shortcuts, were explained in an interactive manner. Additionally, students engaged with various computer functionalities, enhancing their digital literacy.
This initiative reflects the Student Council’s dedication to fostering inclusive education and equipping underprivileged students with practical knowledge. By making digital tools more accessible, the workshop aimed to boost their confidence in using technology, opening new opportunities for learning and growth in the digital age.

Participating Wing of the Student Council: Public Speaking Forum - Abhirang

Activity Brief: Four students from Vishwakarma University, Pune participated in the prestigious CII Debate Competition in Mumbai, competing against 76 university teams from across India. Two teams reached the semi-finals, showcasing exceptional critical thinking and public speaking skills. The competition resulted in the participants securing the first position in English category and being the runner- up in Marathi category.

Activity Brief: A group of 10 students visited the 'Abhiruchi Power Plant' to learn about sustainable energy practices. Guided by Mr. Yashodhan Bhide, the students explored solar energy systems, bio-gas production and waste management, and plastic-to-fuel conversion. This visit provided students with first-hand experience in renewable energy solutions and practical insights into environmental conservation.

Activity Brief: The Debate Competition provided students with a dynamic platform to engage in discussions on the topic: "India's role in the global artificial intelligence race". Participants explored various perspectives on AI adoption and strategized how India should align with global advancements in the field.
With 14 teams participating in groups of two students each, the participant was given 3 minutes to present their arguments, followed by a 2-minute rebuttal session, allowing them ample opportunity to articulate and defend their viewpoints before the judges. After the preliminary rounds, the top four participants advanced to the finals, where they debated on the topic: "India's progress toward the 2030 agenda".
The competition not only enhanced students' understanding of India's position in global AI developments but also encouraged critical thinking and interaction with diverse narratives on international relations and technological advancements.

Activity Brief: This interactive workshop facilitated by Prof. Ankita Sangle, provided students with practical knowledge on personal finance and investment strategies. The session covered the 50-30-20 budgeting rule, the rule of 72 for compound interest, and smart money management techniques. A total of 102 students attended the session, which combined theoretical concepts with real-life applications, making complex financial topics easier to understand.

Activity Brief: In celebration of World Privacy Day, the Genesis wing of the Student Council designed a unique escape room experience for students to solve logic-based puzzles focused on cybersecurity and technology. Participants had to decipher, decode binary numbers, and solve encryption-based puzzles to progress through the challenge.
A total of 69 students participated in this immersive activity, which promoted teamwork, problem-solving, and cybersecurity awareness. Winning teams were recognized for their analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Activity Brief: The Student Council of Vishwakarma University, Pune, through the Sushrut-Health & Wellness Wing, organised an insightful awareness session on menstrual health and hygiene at Acharya Shree Vijay Vallabh School. This initiative aimed to educate young girls on the importance of menstrual care, debunk misconceptions, and encourage open discussions.
The session covered key aspects such as an introduction to the menstrual cycle, hygiene practices, proper sanitary product usage and disposal, nutritional recommendations, and myth-busting discussions. An interactive Q&A session allowed students to voice their concerns and gain expert insights on menstrual well-being.
With 50 students actively participating, the event successfully created a safe and supportive environment for learning, empowering attendees with knowledge about menstrual health and hygiene.
