B.Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy) programme is about the design and development of drugs for the use of the living world. It is an industry and product-oriented profession. Pharmaceutical industries have become hi-tech and are performing an important role in global healthcare today. It is paramount that students are prepared to meet all the new challenges. At VU Pune, the B.Pharm. syllabus, teaching methodology, training, and infrastructure are designed to meet the current requirement.
The programme is focussed on the advancement of technology in the pharmacy field and as per the requirement of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). To enable this, the laboratories in VU are well equipped with the latest, modern scientific instruments and a library with the best reference books, scientific magazines, and journals.
