Principles of Design

Workshop on "Principles of Design" for NATA Aspirants
We successfully conducted an interactive session on Principles of Design on 25th March 2025 at Vishwakarma University.
The session, aligning with the NATA exam pattern, was attended by students from Akriti NATA Classes & Cusrow Wadia Institute of Polytechnic (Total: 11 students).
During the four-hour session (9:30 AM - 1:30 PM), students explored fundamental design principles like Balance, Proportion, Rhythm, and Emphasis through hands-on model-making
exercises, enhancing their spatial understanding and creativity.
Their positive feedback highlighted how this session boosted their confidence in NATA exam model-making tasks.

Faculty for differently abled People

A barrier-free environment at Vishwakarma University, Pune ensures that individuals with disabilities can access and navigate spaces, services, and opportunities equally with others.
Key elements in establishing a barrier-free environment at Vishwakarma University include:


1. Accessibility of Physical Spaces: Buildings, public spaces, and infrastructure are designed or modified to accommodate persons with disabilities. This includes ramps, elevators, wide doorways, and accessible restrooms.
2. Inclusive Communication: Information and communication technologies are accessible to all. This involves providing alternative formats such as braille, large print, sign language interpretation, and captioning for audiovisual materials.
3. Education and Awareness: Training for staff in various sectors is conducted to ensure they understand and can meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.
4. Support Services: Providing necessary support services, such as personal assistance, assistive technologies, and accessible transportation options, enables persons with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in society.

Health Facilities

Vishwakarma University provides a well-equipped medical facility on campus to ensure the health and well-being of students, faculty, and staff. The health center is staffed with qualified doctor and offers basic outpatient care, first aid, and emergency medical support. It operates during regular working hours, with an on-call doctor available for urgent needs. The facility also coordinates with nearby hospitals for specialized treatment if required. 

Dr. Priyanka Gokhale serves as the appointed Medical Officer at the university. She is appointed as Medical Officer. Medical office is located at building number 2, room number 2002, and is available for students and staff seeking medical assistance or information about health services.
