On the 28th of September 2024, we, the students from Vishwakarma University, Pune, had the incredible opportunity to visit Byte Bloggerbase, powered by BloggersCon Vision Private Limited. This visit was a memorable and highly educational experience, allowing us to witness firsthand the inner workings of a tech-driven company specializing in cybersecurity, web development, and AI-driven solutions. It was an enriching day that expanded our understanding of the real-world tech ecosystem and its challenges.

Objective of the Visit

The main goals of the visit were:

• To gain an understanding of how Byte Bloggerbase operates and approaches technological challenges.

• To explore the fields of cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and AI-driven technologies.
• To learn more about entrepreneurship in technology and the startup ecosystem.
• To get hands-on exposure to the projects being developed at Byte Bloggerbase, including how professionals tackle real-world issues in cybersecurity.

Overview of Byte Bloggerbase

Byte Bloggerbase is an innovative platform dedicated to fostering tech education, creating a community of tech enthusiasts, and raising cybersecurity awareness. We learned about their exciting projects like HICA (Higher Institute Campus Ambassadors) and Insider Hackz, which both aim to engage students and professionals in understanding and solving cybersecurity challenges. The company’s dedication to providing a platform for tech education and innovation was truly inspiring.

1. Introduction to Byte Bloggerbase

We were welcomed with an introduction to Byte Bloggerbase, where the team explained the  company’s mission and ongoing projects. This gave us a clear picture of how startups operate in the tech world, focusing on cybersecurity, web development, and community-building efforts.

2. Interactive Sessions on Key Topics

The team at Byte Bloggerbase engaged us in several highly informative sessions. Some of the key topics we discussed included:

• Cybersecurity Trends: We learned about the current landscape of cybersecurity, including rising threats and how ethical hacking plays a vital role in data protection.
• AI-Driven Solutions: The team explained how artificial intelligence and machine learning are integrated into cybersecurity to create advanced solutions.•
• Entrepreneurship in Technology: They also highlighted the importance of startups in driving

tech innovation and discussed what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur in the tech

space.

These sessions were not only educational but also interactive, encouraging us to ask questions and

share our thoughts. We were particularly excited about the practical implications of AI in

cybersecurity and how startups are bringing these ideas to life.

3. Hands-on Demonstrations

One of the most exciting parts of the visit was witnessing live demonstrations of some of the real

world challenges the Byte Bloggerbase team is currently working on. These demos gave us a practical

understanding of how professionals solve complex cybersecurity issues. Seeing these concepts in

action was invaluable and provided us with insights that go beyond classroom learning.

Student Engagement

Throughout the visit, we were encouraged to ask questions, and we actively participated in the

discussions. The team at Byte Bloggerbase was incredibly supportive, answering our questions on

ethical hacking, cybersecurity challenges, and the use of AI in tech innovation. Our engagement

reflected our enthusiasm and curiosity about these cutting-edge topics, and we left the visit feeling

The Department of Artificial Intelligence, Vishwakarma University, Pune, organized an Alumni Mentorship Session on 3rd October 2025 in online mode. The session featured two distinguished alumni, Mr. Prathamesh Suhas Uravane, pursuing an MS in Applied Machine Learning at the University of Maryland, College Park, and Mr. Vedant Vinay Ganthade, pursuing an MS in Robotics (AI) at Arizona State University. The event was coordinated by Prof. Jayendra Jadhav under the guidance of Dr. Pavitha Nooji, HoD of Artificial intelligence Department, Faculty of Science and Technology.

The speakers highlighted the importance of making the most of the academic curriculum by building strong foundations in mathematics, programming, and AI/ML concepts. They stressed that students should focus not only on grades but also on developing problem-solving skills and practical knowledge. Both alumni emphasized that projects play a vital role in shaping a student’s career, advising participants to take up impactful academic and industry projects that solve real-world problems.

A significant part of the discussion focused on preparing for postgraduate studies abroad. The alumni explained the essentials of the application process, including exams, Statements of Purpose, and Letters of Recommendation. They shared personal experiences of challenges faced while studying abroad and encouraged students to align university choices with career aspirations rather than rankings alone.

The session also explored industry trends and emerging opportunities in AI and robotics. The speakers advised students to acquire multidisciplinary skills, gain experience with programming and cloud platforms, and stay updated with evolving areas such as Generative AI, Explainable AI, and Edge AI.

The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where students received practical tips on academic planning, applications, and career readiness. Overall, the session was insightful and motivating, helping students understand how to leverage academics, projects, and global opportunities to shape their future with clarity and confidence.

Activity Name: Tree Plantation Drive

The School of Pharmacy, Vishwakarma University, Pune in collaboration with Centre of Sustainability Nexus, organized and conducted a Tree Plantation Drive at Taljai Hills, Pune, planting native saplings to enhance green cover, restore biodiversity, and raise awareness about environmental conservation. This initiative contributes to SDG 13 (Climate Action) by mitigating climate change, SDG 15 (Life on Land) by supporting ecosystems, and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting greener, healthier urban spaces, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
