The Department of Computer Science, Vishwakarma University, Pune aims at providing quality education in Computer Science and allied fields. The department runs two programmes namely, BSc Computer Science, an undergraduate programme and MSc computer science, a postgraduate programme. Both the programmes run in association with TCS iON specialised in data science.
The department offers quality education in computer science by providing NEP2020 aligned courses, with computer application, courses in combination with physical science and various minor tracks and value education courses. The department offers a student exchange programme whereby students get an opportunity to study abroad.
The department has highly qualified and dedicated faculty that works hard at imparting quality education. Apart from teaching-learning, the faculty is involved in extensive research, consultancy and skill development programs in compliance with the vision of the department. The students are engaged in co-curricular, research and consultancy activities guided by the faculty. The department provides all the required academic, non-academic and placement support to the students.

Our M.Sc. Computer Science program provides an in-depth understanding of advanced topics, research methodologies, and specialized areas within computer science. This program is ideal for students aiming to deepen their expertise and pursue careers in research, development, and higher education.
